About Teacher Cat

I help adults like you learn practical English for everyday life and work. My lessons focus on improving communication, with plenty of encouragement to help you feel comfortable and confident. My goal is to make sure you can communicate clearly and be understood in English.

FAQs

Language: Classes are taught 100% in English. To learn English you need to practice English and this is the perfect time to do it! Don’t worry, I speak very slow and clear English. I also use images and other clues to help you understand. Even if you are an absolute beginner, you will be able to take classes and learn English confidently.

Class Schedule: Once you sign up for classes, you will receive a link to schedule your classes.

Group Classes: You can take group classes with your friends by signing up together or individually at checkout. If signing up individually, contact Teacher Cat to share your group members and preferred schedule. Everyone in the group must pay before classes begin. You can also join group classes individually and be matched with a group.

Online Classes: You can choose Skype or Google Meet for 1-1 classes. Group classes are on Google Meet. If you are unfamiliar with Skype or Google Meet, don't worry, we will go over how to use the platforms during our first class. These platforms are preferred for learning, but we can always use something you are more comfortable with, such as Whatsapp, Facetime, WeChat, etc.

Missed Classes: You can make up 1 missed class within the same month but classes do not roll over from month to month.
